ReMesa

ReMesa is a reservations platform for independent restaurants, designed and built by Vonzie Studio in five weeks and held invite-only until it opens in stages.

A restaurant with 20 to 100 seats has two choices today: a platform that charges per seated guest and keeps the guest relationship for itself, or a paper book. ReMesa is the third: a flat monthly price from €19, no fee per cover on any plan, and every guest profile belonging to the restaurant that earned it. Work started on 4 March 2026. Five weeks later it was a complete product: a live availability engine, a booking widget, a floor plan, a guest CRM and billing across three plans. Since 25 June 2026 it sits behind an invite gate. Nobody is sold to yet, and each request for access is read by a person.

1

A live availability engine

Every slot a guest sees is computed on the spot from opening hours, special dates, sections, tables, seating duration and the bookings already in place, then checked again before the booking is saved. Nothing is cached, so two guests can never take the same table.

2

A widget that embeds with one snippet

One script tag puts the booking flow on any restaurant site: 15 KB, five languages detected automatically, spam-protected, and a waitlist when a service is full. Guests change or cancel from the email they receive. The page and the branding are the restaurant's, not ours.

3

A floor plan in three views

Tables placed and walls drawn on a canvas, a live service view that shows what is seated, free and reserved, and a compact version inside the reservation panel for assigning a table without leaving it.

4

A guest CRM that builds itself

Every booking creates or updates a profile: visits, no-shows, allergies, dietary notes, tags in the restaurant's own colours. Nine reservation statuses carry a guest from pending to seated to completed, and the counts never need typing.

5

No-show protection

A reminder the day before. A deposit that is held, not taken: released when the party sits down, charged only on a no-show, and paid straight into the restaurant's own account. A waitlist that offers a cancelled table to the next guest.

6

A daily briefing and the rails behind it

A written briefing of the day's reservations for the manager each morning, a score that flags regulars going quiet, a thank-you with a review request after the visit, connections other systems can plug into, with their own documentation, and 22 help articles, all gated across three plans with a 14-day trial.

"Restaurant technology should be infrastructure, not a toll booth. A restaurant's growth should never cost it more."
